Mr. O'Neil has over 35 years diversified experience in real estate appraisal, urban planning and economic development. He is a graduate of Yale University, studied City and Regional Planning at Cornell University and received his M.B.A. with a specialization in real estate and finance from The University of Connecticut Graduate School of Business Administration.
He is a Certified General Appraiser, licensed by the State of Connecticut and an Associate Member of the Appraisal Institute. He has been recognized as an expert on matters of real estate in the Superior Court of the State of Connecticut.
Mr. O'Neil is also a professional urban planner, a Charter Member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a Past President of the Connecticut Chapter of the American Planning Association. He has served as Planning Director of the City of Danbury, Community Development Director in Waterbury and President of the Bridgeport Economic Development Corporation. As a consultant and recognized expert in the field he has prepared municipal zoning and subdivision regulations, comprehensive plans of development and testified before planning and zoning commissions and zoning boards of appeal.
